Privacy Policy

Tonos is designed around a simple idea: the minute you spend with the app belongs to you. Everything the app needs to work lives on your device. Nothing about your practice is sent anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. Tonos has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no third-party trackers. We do not operate any server that stores data about you.

What stays on your device

• A record of each completed teaching, stored locally so the app can show your streak and past sessions.
• Your preferences (carrier choice, haptic intensity, reduced-haptics, onboarding state) saved in the app's local settings.

This information is written to your iPhone's app storage. It is included in your standard iCloud device backup if you have one enabled, under Apple's control, not ours. Uninstalling Tonos deletes it.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no ad identifiers, no ad SDKs.
• No analytics. We do not know when or how often you open the app.
• No microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos, health, or calendar access.
• No data sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
• No cross-device profile. No account to delete because none exists.

Audio and content

The narration, music, and haptic tracks are bundled with the app and play locally. They do not stream from a server. Playback does not generate a network request.

Children

Tonos is for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that touches the network) the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a new date above. The current version of Tonos collects nothing.
